Abstract :
In view of the special characteristics of cam grinding, some key technologies of grinding force adaptive control system are researched in this paper, including a selection of inspection parameters, a model of grinding feed system, and the design of controller. Results of simulation indicate that this system can ensure a steady circular grinding force and enhance the machining quality of cams when the grinding allowance fluctuates.
