Abstract :
This paper considers the synthesis of proportional-derivative-(PD-)type anti-windup compensators for linear time-invariant (LTI) systems with input and output saturations. A linear matrix inequality condition to determine coefficient matrices of the compensator is derived in such a way that the nonlinearities and disturbance are taken into account. A numerical example is shown to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed synthesis method.
