Abstract
The computer control system to be presented in this paper is a multitasking system used in cigarette factories. We will discuss its developing in detail. This includes the system´s functional requirements, the concerned problems when high order language is used to produce real-time multitasking program in a single task DOS operating system environment. Emphasis is also put on improving the reliability of general purpose personal computer system to make it suitable for the reliability requirement in industrial field.<>
