Abstract
This paper presents that using Kalman filter theory optimally estimates precision of distances between holes in parts that are to be assembled into batch-finished products. It has mainly solved two aspects of problems. (1) How to write out state equations. (2) The state results obtained by applying Kalman filter theory to error theory are superior to those by classical error theory.<>
