Abstract
Developing collaborative mobile applications is a tedious and error-prone task, as collaboration functionality often has do be developed from scratch. To ease this process, we propose WatchMyPhone, a developer toolkit being focused on the creation of collaborative applications on mobile devices, especially sharing user interface components like text views in a multi-user setting. We provide an implementation of the toolkit as well as a demo application for shared text editing based on Android. WatchMyPhone is integrated in the Mobilis open source framework thus adding another facet to enable fast and efficient development of mobile social apps.
