Abstract :
The present work concerns the continuation of experimental investigations of transition from narrowband (single frequency) generation mode to broadband noise generation in the layout of a low-voltage generator with a virtual cathode. An experimental setup and used test equipment are considered. Detailed experimental study of the dynamics of change of time realizations of the signals generated by the laboratory layout when changing selected control parameters is carried out. Carrying out the analysis of the power spectra, the time realizations of output signals, the phase portraits and bifurcation diagrams with changing the selected control parameters showed that the transition from the single-frequency mode to broadband generation occurs through a cascade of period doubling bifurcations and through intermittency.
