Abstract :
The paper considers prerequisites of the study of the acoustic-electromagnetic radiation of the lithosphere caused by elastic stresses of the lithosphere and resulting practical considerations regarding the use of this phenomenon in diagnostics of the lithosphere. That briefly discusses the results of a field experiment to investigate the correlation between acoustic and electromagnetic radiation of the lithosphere. It has been found that the most powerful manifestation of acoustic emission is observed in the results of registration of electromagnetic radiation with the use of the quadrupole antenna.
