Abstract
The Livingston Application program is designed to monitor and diagnose control operations of the Mars Space Station. Livingston is special software developed by NASA, which uses a model based programming language. The output generated by Livingston is textural. However, graphical means of viewing modular outputs would greatly simplify the monitoring and diagnosing of such complex models. The Circuit Breaker (CB) model, using Livingston application, was provided by NASA and consists of 15 CBs connected to 8 LEDs, which simulates the above control operations. In order to graphically display this control system and dynamically update this graphical user interface (GUI), Java technologies have been implemented. This GUI is very effective in diagnosing, monitoring and understanding of these control operations
