  • Abstract
The millimeter wave is widely used and discussed, and there have been many inventions and applications. We proposed a new vacuum electronic device for the generation of Ka-band millimeter waves, and we use the 2D finite-difference time-domain particle-in-cell code MAGIC (developed by ATK Mission Research, VA, US) for the verification of the generation of millimeter waves. After doing fast Fourier transformation by observing the output power in time domain, a resonance at about 35 GHz is found
