Abstract
The given work presents the analysis of inner-period moving targets detection (MTD) possibilities for acoustic detection stations using inner-pulse periodic Linear Frequency Modulation (LFM) for sounding signals. The signal processing technique for achieving the detection of slow-moving targets within a single sounding pulse under conditions of the interfering reflections is proposed. As a preliminary evaluation, the Matlab model simulating sounding signals, reflections and target echoes is developed to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method and its robustness in the presence of interfering reflections. Simulation results demonstrating improvement of slow-moving target detection based on the usage of inner-pulse periodic LFM are represented.
