Abstract :
This paper discusses the function requirement, system analysis, system design and system realization on float valve tray CAD system, and how to analyze the software with the object-oriented technology. The object-oriented analysis model and object-oriented design model were built based on OMT (object model technology). Column tray design parameters were calculated with an optimal method of from part to whole. Finally a CAD system for float valve tray (TCAD) was developed by Visual Basic 6.0. TCAD has the advantage of good code being reused, also easily being understood, maintained, changed and expanded.
