Abstract
The availability of computers and microprocessors has resulted in a steady increase of digital control applications. The system performance obtained is quite satisfactory in comparison to the continuous case. This paper presents the study of various digital control strategies. For the self-tuning controller some approaches are investigated and evaluated. The comparison of the different controllers and influence of various algorithms or function blocks are also illustrated.<>
