Abstract :
The internal structure and characteristics of the scheme, based on a single reference crystal oscillator, for an indirect frequency synthesizer of the microwave measurement system are considered. A method of frequency stabilization of a crystal oscillator with low level of phase noise used in this system is described. The feasibility of applying this system for formation of discrete series of signals with frequencies which are slightly different from each other in carrying out homodyne measurements is analyzed.
