Abstract
This paper investigates the stability of a closed-loop system when a one-step predictive control which is subject to a saturation constraint on the control variable, is applied to a stable system with an integrator. Then, generalization of a result of Chang and Evens (1987) is achieved by showing that stability in the sense of BIBO can be assured for the system with any kind of non-minimum phase behaviour.<>
