  • Abstract
    The canal operation algorithm based on water volume control method is proposed. The principle of combining discharge feedforward with water level feedback is adopted. And the gate controller adopts the incremental PI control algorithm. An operating simulation mode based on storage volume control method for multireach canal system in series is established. The instance simulation indicates the controlled volume method proposed can carry on optimal control to the water volume of entire canal system. The system responds rapidly and transits smoothly, and the system operation has very strong flexibility.
