Abstract
In recent years, the rise in water temperature has had an adverse effect on the ecosystem in Lake Biwa. Thus, it is very important to continuously monitor the water temperature. The flow of the lake water is an important factor and an ambient surrounding ruled in Lake Biwa. We are using resistance bulb (JPt100) and a standard function to measure the water temperature. Some properties of the speed of sound and the water temperature profile are described in this paper.
