  • Abstract
Current processing building-blocks provide wide bandwidth and high speed, but are often open-loop and as such not very accurate. A typical circuit is the current-conveyor, in which the low accuracies in both voltage and current transfer functions have limited its acceptability. In order to increase the circuit accuracy and speed simultaneously, a new design approach has been adopted and a high speed and high accuracy current-conveyor has been obtained. By using a complementary bipolar process based on the XFCB parameters from Analog Devices Inc, simulation shows that the voltage transfer function exhibits a 2.67 GHz-3 dB bandwidth with improved unity gain accuracy. Also very high slew-rate is obtained, which can reach 6000 V/μs and the settling time to 0.1% is within 15 ns
