Abstract :
In this paper, fault location errors are analyzed for actual power system faults and the accuracy of the fault location system is evaluated. The results are compared with those of conventional one-terminal fault location systems. Multi-terminal fault location algorithms are compared with conventional fault location algorithms by applying fault waveform data in COMTRADE format, which was obtained from actual power system faults.
