  • Abstract
    There is wide need of real-time controller having both fast calculation capability and flexible control ability for industrial applications. It is well known that a digital signal processor has the advantage of fast and strong calculation, but lacks strong control functions. This paper describes a universal microcomputer-based real-time controller supported by an IBM-PC, and it consists of a DSP56001 application development system (DSP ADS), and a M68HC11 EVB evaluation board, etc. It is easy to satisfy the above-mentioned requirement.<>
