Abstract :
Automated sea route design is an important part for the application of electronic chart. An elasticity algorithm based on the grid chart environmental model is brought forward to search the shortest safe sea route automatically by making full use of the adjacency of the grids. The algorithm has the advantage of good stability, briefness and high searching efficiency. The experiment results show that the method is applicable for the sea route planning of complicated large-sized sea areas.
