Abstract :
This paper presents a probabilistic technique which can be used to develop unit commitment schedules for continually changing loads in a power system for a specified period. The technique is developed on the basis of a system fulfilling reliability and dynamic economic dispatch. Typical unit commitment cases are illustrated with numerical examples.<>
