Abstract :
This paper studies a data analysis of the signal control along an arterial. A signal control system is described by a nonlinear discrete dynamic system. Some characteristics with respect to the road, traffic and signal control parameters are analyzed along the Route 54 in Hiroshima city. The properness of the signal control is considered based on the data analysis of signal control parameters and congestion lengths.
