Abstract
This paper gives a novel approach for LNA using active inductor. The advantage of this proposed design is its tune ability over a wide range of frequency. Also the tune ability of the inductor enhances the capability of the band pass filter and increases its Q value. The proposed design gives forward gain of 11.8 dB flat response, NF varies from 1.9 dB minimum to 3.8 dB maximum for the frequency 1.8 GHz to 12.4 GHz. S11 and S22 are less than -9.7 dB over the frequency spectrum of 2.3 to 15.2 GHz.
