Abstract
A recently proposed method for analyzing the output data of a traditional transient stability program, which is known as the trajectory analysis method, has been applied to a real world power system. The results are presented in this paper and they show that for the most disturbed generators, the value of the stability index (S/sub i/) is monotonically decreased with the deterioration of stability, by any mode.<>
