Abstract :
In this paper, we present micromagnetic modelling work for synthetic anti-ferromagnetic (SAF) spin valve heads with permanent magnet (PM) stabilization. It is known that the PM stabilization in a spin valve head has to be strong enough so that the free layer magnetisation is in single domain state during head operation.
