Abstract :
This paper presents different type of multilevel inverters along with their advantages and disadvantages. Moreover, there is an introduction of new multilevel inverter strategy named as series parallel switched DC linked multilevel inverter. This paper also describes a comparison among all multilevel inverter along with their applications.
