Abstract :
In this paper, motivated by digital zero phase start (DZPS) method, a new digital zero frequency/phase start (DZFS/PS) technique is proposed for initial joint phase and frequency estimation. DZFS/PS is followed by a Kalman filter with delay to fine-tune frequency acquisition based on the buffered preamble signal.
