Abstract
This paper presents designs and characteristics of a novel low-power current sensor, Rogowski coil developed based on printed circuit board (PCB) technology. PCB Rogowski coils are accurate, and the influence of external electromagnetic fields is minimal. High power test results confirmed performance for applications with advanced protection, control, and metering systems.
