Abstract
This paper presents a direct approach for synchronous machine parameter identification in continuous-time state-space models. The method estimates the original physical parameters directly by means of an LD operation without the transformation between continuous- and discrete-time versions. Experimental results show the accuracy and computational efficiency of this approach.<>
