Abstract :
Temperature monitoring play an important role in many processes especially in the livestock sector. Animal behavior usually depends on the temperature. In order to produce a good and healthy livestock animal, an environment monitoring is a must due to global warming and climate changes. These research applied LM35 temperature sensor as a main transponder to measure the temperature of rabbit cage environment. An Advantech USB-4716 Portable Data Acquisition Module has been choose as a data logger and software Scanwave 2.0 as a display of control panel. The research begin with development of curcuitary of data logger which consists of voltage regulator and sensor curcuit. Then followed by monitoring the data obtained using software Scanwave 2.0. The experiment were conducted into two different environment which are fully control environment also named as Laboratory Test and normal environment or Field Test. The scope covered includes ambient temperature, multiple rabbit and rabbit waste temperature. The temperature of the rabbit cage environmet was recorded daily throughout the period of the experiment.
