Abstract :
Aiming at the power supply quality of 500 kV large power compact transmission lines, their transmission ability is discussed in detail when different kinds of conductor bundle are used. Based on this discussion, the best model and number of subconductors are also put forward in this paper which points out that 500 kV large power compact overhead transmission lines will contribute to tremendous economic gains in the Three Gorges power station project.<>
