Abstract :
This paper presents a comparative evaluation of the proportional-plus-integral (PI) and proportional-plus-integral-plus-derivative (PID) controllers for Z-source inverter-fed induction motor drive. The dynamic model of Z-source inverter is presented in this paper. The performance of the drive employing PI and PID controllers are evaluated analytically and are compared with each other using MATLAB simulation.
