Abstract :
The authors introduce an ActiveX control that allows MATLAB to be launched directly from a Web page. The control takes the form of a button and has properties that allow the user to define the caption of the button as well as what MATLAB is to do once it is launched, that is, run predefined MATLAB commands or m-files. The benefit of using the control is demonstrated via a Web page that runs LSLNR- a GUI tool written in MATLAB by the authors. The ActiveX control is available for free from http://www.csc.gatech.edu/~raymond/research.htm
