Abstract :
A novel coprecipitate reaction happens on the oil/water interface was utilized to fabricate magnetite nanoparticles (MNPs). Then a mercapto-silane molecule was decorated on the surface of nanoparticles, and thiol-capped quantum dots (QDs) was linked on by these molecules with silane group binding to MNPs and thiol group connecting with QDs. In addition, the MNPs were coated by a layer of silica, and their application in magnetic resonance image (MRI) was evaluated.
