Abstract
The most important factor for the provision of the electromagnetic compatibility in power plants and substations is the density of the earthing network and equipotential bonding system which must be constructed with subsystems and connected to the earthing system. Besides that proper measures must be made (screening and compensation) to reduce the disturbances and their transfer to secondary systems. The originality and research relevance of the paper is in presenting good engineering practice in the construction of earthing network and equipotential bonding system in order to provide for electromagnetic compatibility in power plants and substations which is relevant for advancing EMC education.
