Abstract
In this paper, we used CrMoMn and CrMoZr double underlayer for CoCrPtB longitudinal media to manipulate the grain size and crystallographic texture. The dependence of magnetic properties, intergranular coupling and microstructure on the underlayer doping are discussed.
