Abstract :
The concept and the optical design of a monochromator for ultrashort pulses of extreme-ultraviolet (XUV) radiation is presented, together with the description of its experimental realization. The purpose of this instrument is to realize a novel tool for the investigation of the matter with few-femtosecond temporal resolution.
