Abstract :
This paper presents a concept of sources - a new relay configuration tool that turns logical connections between relay terminals and protection, control and metering functions into user settings. This new configuration mechanism is available on a complete line of modem protective relays from a simple feeder relay through a high-end line distance protection terminal.
