Abstract :
This paper presents an amplitude detection receiver for Pulse Amplitude Modulation (PAM) 60 GHz wireless communication systems. A low complexity non-coherent receiver is employed for amplitude detection. The bit error rate (BER) over an additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel is investigated. Numerical results are presented which show the BER of the amplitude detection receiver.
