Abstract :
Robotics is evolving at a high speed, and its applications in the industry is also increasing from object pick and place robots, to move and locate robots. The field of robotics is moving so quickly encompassing a wide range of disciplines and applications that robotics education must be adaptive and incorporate a multidisciplinary approach. The actuator designed in this paper is a robotic arm with focus on 7 Degree of Freedom and controlled using hand gestures. The design will be elaborated in reference to the application of the robotic arms in the industry.
