Abstract
This paper deals with the magnetic shielding of the field generated by a wireless power transfer (WPT) system in air at the frequency of 20 kHz. Different shielding techniques are considered and the results obtained by the use of conductive shields, magnetic shields and passive coils are compared. The analysis is carried out by a hybrid technique based on the coupling between electrical circuits and quasi-static electromagnetic fields.
