Abstract :
This paper studies the common mode impedance of DC-DC converter in an embedded network. The frequency range of interest starts from few Hz up to tens of MHz. The low frequencies may be helpful for network studies (leakage currents, stability investigation ...), whereas high frequencies are dedicated to EMC analysis. Online (i.e. with working converter) and offline (no switching) impedances will be compared, thanks to Pspice simulations, analytical studies and experimental measurements using either impedance measurement bridge, or a capacitive injection method. The link between the common mode impedance and the physical parameters of the studied example will be discussed.
