Abstract :
Many problems are related to the electromagnetic wave propagation in ionized media. They range from the long distance satellite communications to the physics of catalytic exhausts and electrostatic precipitators. Two iterative methods are presented to solve the inhomogeneous wave equation for the electric potential in non-linear lossy media. They are numerically solved by the finite difference time domain algorithm. A multiple source configuration is considered and the methods are validated by comparison with measured data
