Abstract :
This paper deals with the efficiency evaluations in a synchronous reluctance motor (SynRM) using a coupled finite element method (FEM) and Preisach´s modeling, which is presented to analyse the characteristics under the effect of saturation and hysteresis loss. The focus of this paper is the efficiency relative to hysteresis loss on the basis of maximum efficiency condition in a SynRM. Computer simulation and experimental result for the efficiency using dynamometer show the property of the proposed method.
