Abstract :
In this paper, the spatial filtering using various filters have been studied to heighten the data transfer rate in single mode fiber. Spatial components of the launched light on SMF input are shaped by using the spatial filter. Gaussian and Butterworth spatial filters are proposed. Theoretical simulated results of spatial filtration at fiber entrance end will intensify the transmission capacity of fiber optical system. Numerical results are compared and analyzed for the systems with spatial filters to that of the systems without spatial filters.
