Abstract
We investigate the detection technology of large seismic waves. Particular attention is paid to output signal patterns of an interferometric gravitational field detector when seismic waves are approaching. Observing the turbulence of the gravitational field due to the approach of seismic waves enables to predict the attack of the P wave. Detection of the turbulence of the gravitational field is performed by measuring the relative displacements of several nearly free masses which carry the mirrors defining the interferometer
