Abstract :
Mass casualty incidents (MCI) are highly dynamic situations. In order to minimize potential losses associated primarily with human lives, it is particularly important to quickly and efficiently allocate the available limited resources. Thus, a flexible solution for rational resource allocation is needed. In this paper, we show a combination of technologies from different fields of research that have focused on the support for such an optimal solution. We describe a mathematical model and then demonstrate a prototype implementation with evaluation results of the suggested approach.
