Abstract :
The change in the relative light output of the alpha and gamma response of scintillators with temperature has been measured. BGO, CaF 2(Eu), NaI(Tl) and YAP(Ce) were investigated over the temperature range from -20°C to 70°C. The GEE and the normalized light output for alpha particles from Am241 and for gamma rays from Na22 are presented in tabular and graphical forms
