Building the database of category and craft of Shaanxi Qin embroidery art

This paper firstly formulates the purpose on database project of category and craft of Qin embroidery art, mainly for the categorized management, display and sharing of Qin embroidery collected and sorted, then, by analyzing the demands of various user groups and the requests of various media, summarizes the design constraints of qin embroidery project. It also studies the related database technology, puts forword the projects based on web technology such as xml, css, javascript and so on, adopts Unicode code mechanism and integrates network database system so that the project has perfect man-machine interface design and rich functions of query and display to ensure that the project of Qin embroidery can be shared and spreaded within as largest scope as possible, possessing both professional and usability.
