Abstract :
With being unable to bear belongings losing, personnel casualty and serious harm brought by fault occurring in systems, application of prognostic and health management/monitoring (PHM) technology is more and more abroad. This paper analyzed change of expense caused by PHM technology, established an economy benefit model, and applied this model to evaluate economy benefit brought by PHM technology to systems quantificationally from the goal of reducing life cycle cost and logistical support cost.
